Making a world better place to live
A old man was picking up the plastics near the road. when I asked him why are you doing all of this by your self he said no one's else would so I am doing it . He was being so kind to his surrounding so he motivated me to held a cleaning campaign and a gardening work
It was done at gelephu, youth center area . We were divided in the groups of two. One group would do the cleaning campaign till Nimiling dratshang and the other to the talidratsgang. We had picked up all the waste up to our destination and went to a dratshang to help with a gardening work.
Many people(1000) living at the gelephu thromde area were benefited . They were happy to see again their beautiful area. We inspired them to take care of their own waste. The little ones who saw us doing work helped us too and they told they would keep their surroundings clean .
I learned that we should take care of our own waste. It's our responsibility to keep the surroundings clean. It's in our hand to make the world a better place .
