Madiun Literacy Ranger

Literacy activities with children are not only about teaching them to read and write, but also about opening a window to the world. Through books, stories, and fun learning activities, children can explore new knowledge, develop curiosity, and build the courage to dream. By fostering a culture of literacy from an early age, we help support quality education and create a generation that is intelligent, critical, and ready for a brighter future.

The project was carried out through educational activities, including a Learning and Playing Program (KBB) and decorating the school library. The KBB included five activity posts: word guessing, sentence arranging, number arranging, giant snakes and ladders, and ecobrick, with Pramuka Madiun as facilitators. Through these activities, children learned while playing to develop literacy, numeracy, and environmental awareness, while also creating a more literacy-friendly library environment.

Through this project, we learned that literacy activities are more effective when they are conducted in an interactive and enjoyable way. We also gained experience in collaborating and taking an active role as facilitators to support quality education in the community.
