10 of our Scouts of 1st Bellville South Troop went for a beach cleanup at Maccasar beach close to Cape Town. Some of our Scouts noticed while on holiday with their parents that there were quite some litter between the dunes .... and came back to Troop and asked his patrol if they could go and clean up and invited some of the other patrols as well. Between going on badge courses and studying for exams he managed to get 10 of them. Well done to the PL. Between them they could fill up 15 bags!
10 Scouts managed to collect 15 bags of rubbish
This is a big concern as those rubbish get blown into the ocean and affects life in the sea
If everyone would just consider picking up those rubbish and not just walk past. Picking up just a little piece of paper or plastic would make a huge difference
