Little Hands, Big help

The activity was motivated by the Cub Scout spirit of service. It aimed to promote kindness, teamwork, and care for the environment while helping a person with disability and supporting healthy living through vegetable planting as taught in food for life project.
We identified a person with a disability who needed help. With our leader’s guidance, we planted vegetables by preparing the land and planting seeds. We also fetched clean water for the person. We worked together as a team and showed kindness while serving our community.
Cub Scouts learned to: Help others with kindness and respect Work together as a team Take responsibility and serve the community Care for the environment Develop empathy for people with disabilities
