Litterless campaign at Florida Lake

Our local lake has changed from a place of beauty and a place to relax to a dirty area frequented by criminals and litterers. It is no longer safe and clean for the community to enjoy.
Our district scouters decided as part of our BP day celebrations to take some time to use our available manpower and clean up part of the lake precinct.
The whole community around the lake, which is several thousand people benefit from a pleasant lake environment. More specifically the fisherman, local Sea Scout Troop, dragon boat and yacht clubs that do water activities here. This is a direct impact on several hundred people benefit directly.
This type of exercise should be run with the community involved and should happen several times a month to keep the lake precinct as pristine as it should be.
