Litter??? Why Does It Matter?

Litter??? Why Does It Matter?

Learning more about how our litters are made helps a lot in fighting the plastic pollution. I was able to educate myself through the videos that I've watched. It was a great help because it's now clear to me how plastics are made and where does it go after just throwing it away. There are places where plastic should go like to the recycling center, where plastics are broken down for it to use as materials in making more usable plastic items like chairs. However, the others are thrown to land fills and bodies of water because they are just littered around instead of being put inside the recycle bins. That happens because of the carelessness of us humans. When plastics are thrown to land fills and water bodies, the chemicals from it are being mixed to the water and land that makes it polluted. Some plastics are broken down into microplastics that stay in the lands and oceans that are mistaken by animals as food. Plastics are bad for everyone's health most especially when ingested. Those animals doesn't have any idea what they ate that affects their health a big time. Let's all be aware of what our litters can do not only to us, but also to the other living things. There's a lot of things that we can do. The simplest is to be aware and be mindful in our disposal of our wastes. #EarthTribe #EarthTribePH #TideTurnersPlasticChallenge #TideTurnersPlasticChallengePH #TideTurners #TideTurnersPH #Scouts4SDGs #SDG6 #SDG13 #SDG14 #SDG15 #Scouts #BetterWorld #PreserveTheLegacy #ScoutingSaSilangan #WarriorScouts #UEGSPChapter #ForHerWorld
