Litter Less Campaign 2nd Hout Bay

My fellow Scout and I (with our moms) cleaned around the back of our Scout Hall that is fenced off. It is next to a school and open park and lots of trash and broken glass were collected at the back and the side of the hall that is not always that visible from the front of the hall entrance. I was very surprised once we started to clean, how much rubbish and the type of rubbish that we collected. It took us just over an hour to collect 4 bags of rubbish that will be taken to the dump.
We cleaned the rubbish at our Scout Hall in Hout Bay. Our parents assisted us with transport and to take the rubbish to the dump.
I think our Scout Group of 60 people benefited from the project, as there is no more broken glass and plastic at the back of the wall. It shows that we care about our Scout Hall.
I forgot to take some gloves with, the thongs we took along worked well, but some items were too small to pick up.
