From Litter to Legacy — memorable and meaningful.
My motivation for undertaking this project was to protect the environment, promote responsible waste management, and raise awareness about the importance of cleanliness. Through this initiative, I hoped to inspire community members to work together, develop environmentally friendly habits, and contribute towards building a cleaner, healthier, and greener future for everyone.
I carried out a community clean-up campaign the day after Tshechu by collecting litter, segregating waste, and cleaning the festival grounds. This initiative helped restore cleanliness, promote responsible waste management, and raise awareness about the importance of protecting the environment through community participation.
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork, community service, and responsible waste management. I realized that even small actions can make a significant difference in keeping festival grounds clean, reducing pollution, and protecting the environment. This experience also taught me the value of working together to build a cleaner and healthier community.
