Literacy community
I started this project because I saw many children in my community had little access to books and safe reading spaces. As a Scout, I worked with Aksiraya to hold weekly sessions where kids could read, listen to stories, and learn through play. Through this, I grew in empathy and responsibility. I hope my small step can inspire others to spread the spirit of literacy.
The project was carried out through regular literacy sessions every Friday or Saturday from June 2025, in collaboration between Pramuka Salfath and Aksiraya. Scouts prepared the venue and accompanied children in reading and storytelling, while Aksiraya provided books and facilitated activities. I have also been actively involved as an organizer in Aksiraya from June to September to ensure the program runs consistently and inclusively.
