Linis Eskwela: Rovers United for the Planet
We were inspired by the call to action for World Environment Day and our commitment as Rover Scouts to protect and preserve the planet. Seeing the growing waste problem in schools and communities, we wanted to lead by example and promote environmental responsibility through a united clean-up effort.
We mobilized Rover Scouts from Rover Circles United 08 in coordination with school authorities to conduct a clean-up drive within the school premises. Tasks were divided among teams to sweep, collect litter, segregate waste, and promote proper disposal practices. Eco-awareness messages were also shared to emphasize the importance of environmental responsibility. The activity was done in celebration of World Environment Day.
Teamwork Matters – Collaborating with fellow Rovers showed the value of unity and shared responsibility in achieving a cleaner environment. Small Actions Make Big Impact – Even simple clean-up efforts can greatly improve the school environment and inspire others to act. Environmental Awareness is Key – The project deepened our understanding of proper waste management and the importance of sustainability.
