Linang Bulilit

Project Linang Bulilit (Cultivate Young Children) primarily aims to improve the quality of education, specifically early childhood learning, for the children in San Luis, Pampanga. The Scouts from Lualu Rover Circle 9 conducted a series of services at Sto. Tomas and San Agustin Child Development Centers.

Linang Eskwela (Cultivate School) hopes create more vibrant and visually-stimulating learning spaces suitable for early childhood development. The Scouts made colorful wall designs that spark imagination and creativity of the children.

Linang Kalusugan (Cultivate Health) hopes to ensure that the children are healthy through proper nutrition and adequate health and medical resources (such as medicines) and support. On its initial implementation, the Scouts provided first aid kits and common children medicines that can address immediate medical needs during health-related incidents.

Linang Laro (Cultivate Play) hopes to ensure that children are engaged in active play that promotes learning and improves their physical health and wellbeing, including having safe and enjoyable play space. During its launch, the Scouts cleaned and repainted the playground area and equipment of San Agustin Child Development Center.

Linang Kaalaman (Cultivate Learning) hopes to improve early childhood learning of the children by helping in the delivery and facilitation of learning in class. With the guidance of the teachers, the Scouts helped in teaching in the daycare of Sto. Tomas and San Agustin Child Development Centers. The Scouts utilized small group facilitation and offered personalized assistance to challenges the children encountered.

"Thank you so much Rover Scouts at isa kami sa napili niyong bigyan ng napakagandang serbisyo ninyo. Una, napa-wow ang mga bata sa pininta niyong big family tree at sa mural ng aming daycare center. God bless mga kuya and ate Rover Scouts." Mam Doris Candelaria, Teacher in Sto. Tomas CDC

"What I enjoyed most was being hands-on and working with my fellow Rovers. I learned that even small actions can create a big impact, especially when done with heart and teamwork. I'm also excited for our last activity (teaching the daycare students) because it's a new challenge and another chance to learn.

This experience taught me the value of service, creativity, and leadership. I'm proud of what we’ve accomplished, and I’ll carry these lessons with me beyond this project." -Francesca
