INTRODUCTION OF OUR PROJECT

: The idea of this project started from a occasional meeting with a 7 year old child who was working in a road side hotel. Our beloved brother, late Antim kumar das marked this and asked that child about his situation that compelled him for working in hotel. By the conversation with little child he came to know that most of her friends who belonged to the same slum as of him working in different other things for there earning and family requirements. This situation of the child hit our brother hard and he took the child with him to his home and talked with his parents about his education. By the time, idea of starting a project had already planted in the mind of our brother, then with the consultant of our respected leader Mr. Bijay kumar rath and other social workers he thought to start a project and named it as "SIKHSHA RA ALOK" (LIGHT TO EDUCATION).

 Firstly, we 17 rovers and 7 rangers started working on this project. Our main objective was to bringforth those slum area children to the mainstream of our society. So our team decided to provide free and quality education to those slum children . On daily basis in morning and evening we started teaching them and shared our experience. As we know thinking of some work and working upon it needs lots of patience and continuity. Gradually, due lack of money in there family they started avoiding our team . Then we decided to attract them toward our camp by distributing chocolate, study materials, sweets among them. We marked increase in numbers day to day. Later we did surprise test among them and distributed prizes among them
