The Library Mouse Project- Beyond the classroom
I enjoy reading so much. I noticed a shortage of these SSYRA books in our school and local Libraries. I wanted everyone to be able to enjoy reading these books whether they could afford to buy them or not.
I started my project by creating an Amazon wishlist for SSYRA books. Then I posted on social media about my project. I Encouraged another scout to participate and we Collected books. Together we were able to distribute 186 books to 5 schools in our community.
I learned that even a child can bring together the community and that it takes a lot of hard work to put together a project.
