Lemonade Stand to Purchase School Supplies

As a scout that lives in a nice community, I wanted to be able to provide kids that don't have the same opportunities with items to help them in school.
I ran a lemonade stand at my house with some of my friends that live on my block. I had to make a list of all the needed things to make lemonade and have snacks, go to the grocery, make signs, get things set up, and get the word out to people in our community to come by.
The money that I made from the lemonade stand went to purchase school supplies for underprivileged youth through a local organization called The Harbour. The supplies give kids new backpacks and other supplies that they may not have for school.
Better marketing probably would need to be better if I wanted to make more money. It was hard to get the word out as a kid and had to ask some adults to help me. I could have made flyers or thought of other ideas to get more people to come by.
