Learning through scouting with adventure and fun
Boy Scouts of the Philippines - Caloocan City Council once again spread its wings and soared high as it conducted its 1st Councilwide Camporee 2019 in celebration of the Scouting Month.
The event focused on achieving three modules: First, back to basic, 2nd,water fun and 3rd, obstacle course. Back to basic allowed the scouts to learn some basic scouting skills such as knot tying, lashing, compass reading, tent pitching, bandaging, and fire building. On the other hand, in water fun, the scout's learned basic to advance skills in swimming. lastly, for the obstacle course, the scout's went through different challenging activities which tested their endurance, tactics and conquering their fears. In addition to these meaningful activities, they enjoyed as well Larong Pinoy such as luksong tinik,sack race, tumbang preso and tug of war which strengthen their Filipinism on preserving cultural games. In these event the scout's experienced and learned new skills with adventure and fun.
