Leading Streets, Serving Communities

I was inspired by my responsibility to serve after the July 5, 2024 movement, seeing the public struggle with traffic. Most importantly, the public’s support showed that small efforts can make a big difference.
After the July 5, 2024 national movement, roads needed cleaning and traffic control. As a Jagannath University Rover Scout, I volunteered for five days at " Ray Shaheb Bazar Mor" with my group. Despite the scorching heat, dust, and rain, I remained dedicated to my duty. Local shopkeepers and citizens supported us, making our efforts even more meaningful. We not only controlled traffic but also helped pedestrians, assisted disabled individuals, and pushed stalled rickshaws.
This project taught me the joy of service and teamwork. Overcoming challenges like heat and rain built resilience. Public appreciation kept us motivated. Adapting quickly was key to success. Most importantly, it strengthened my sense of responsibility.
