Leadership Training for 125 Scouts. All inducted as Messengers of Peace for Bhutan. 125 profiles created. 45 resource personnel engaged in training the Scouts from all parts of Bhutan. Direct beneficiaries of the training- 125. Indirect beneficiaries- 250 Al 125 Scouts shall go back to their respective regions and spread the message of peace, harmony and try to make an impact in the community. Training started as early as 4 in the morning and ended around 10:30 at night. Scouts were engaged drills, physical training, 5 KM run, aerobics, cooking competition, white water rafting, paintball games, team games, rapelling, guest lectures on variety of topics. Scouts also attended practical sessions on first aid,disaster management and response sessions, forest fire and management, river rescue and crossing. Sessions on spirituality and values were also conducted to instill softer skills in children. Life skills and survival classes were also given to equip the scouts. 21 days of training were relentlessly conducted for the scouts.
