Leadership Support-Safe from harm National policy
Safe from Harm project is newly introduced to the Libyan scouts and because the Libyan scouts want to cope with the new programs and projects it was a must for us to plan and implement various activities to increase the awareness regarding being safe from all forms of harm.
Planning for a policy is not easy, all the efforts were to make a policy that is acceptable to our culture and religion since it varies from one country to another, so we took on our hands the responsibility to form a policy and to instruct leaders all over Libya to understand it, these activities were conducted in the form of lectures and awareness classes to help visualize the importance and effects of such subject
we believe that the impact in the coming years will be significant and will help to protect boys and young people with their presence in the Scout Movement in a safe environment
the biggest challenge is to be in a safe environment outside the Scout Movement within the community, whether in the educational environment or life in general.
