San Carlos United Methodist Church hosts 150 children every summer for a week of Vacation Bible School which requires at least 50 adult and young adult volunteer leaders to run the classes, crafts, snacks, games, and assemblies. I was the assistant games leader for the elementary school age kids which meant that I had to lead four rotations of four teams of five to six kids in two games for twenty minutes each. In other words, I led one group of 20 to 26 kids in two games, then another group for twenty minutes, then the next group etc. from 8:30am to 11:30 am Monday through Friday for a week. The kids loved the games and I enjoyed being their leader.
