Lawson coordinated with the YMCA to constructed a fenced in and gated raised flower bed garden.  It has 3 gardening beds with a four foot high fence around to keep small animals out.  Lawson raised the funds for the building supplies, planned the layout and organized a building team to get the project completed.  The day started with just a bare spot of land and ended with a fenced in area about 24' by 16' with four large flower beds ready with potting soil and dirt.  The YMCA staff fully supported the project and even made the team hotdogs for lunch.
