Launching of Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities by Ismaili District Boy Scouts Association, Karachi

Ismaili District Boy Scouts Association, Karachi has tossed first of its kind Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities based on global initiative designed to inspire millions of young people to work toward at Aminabad, Hyderabad. This was official launching of Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities by IDBSA. Total 38 Shaheen Scout , 49 Boy Scouts, 16 Rovers Scouts with 08 Leaders participated in activity. The Messenger of Peace (MoP) activities were facilitated by District Scout Commissioner Wahab Jockey, District Secretary Dr. Shahab Ali Patel, Members of the Executive Committee, & IDBSA Messenger of Peace (MoP) Coordinator myself DSL Ali Tharwani along with DSL Hussain Sheikh. Scouts from around the Hyderabad, Sindh share what they’ve done and motivate fellow Scouts to start similar efforts in their own areas. Activities conducted includes Introduction to Messenger of Peace (MoP), How to register Service Hours, Singing Messenger of Peace (MoP) Songs & Poems and Tree Plantation Campaign. Messenger of Peace (MoP) Certificates were awarded by IDBSA to all participants as well as to encourage & motivate Scouts.
