Landen Deerfield Trailhead Arch
Motivation for this project came from demand from my local park service to improve the degrading trails that were strung throughout the local facilities. The project came out well and will continue to serve Landen Deerfield Park for year to come.
This gateway archway will help to lead hikers to the trailhead. The entrance to the trail is very hidden and the large 12ft trailhead archway will show them where the trailhead starts and the location of a nearby map of all the trails. I was able to complete this project with private funds donated by family and friends. Getting to see the project come together and form into what you have been organizing for the past 6 months is very rewarding.
From this project me and my fellow troop mates learned how to operate heavier machinery and learn a little about the customs of constructions and building concepts used in modern assembly and architecture. We also learned the importance of patience in working with large corporations.
