Lake side cleaning campaign
A few days before this campaign, me and some of my friends went to this lake side and found it very dirty, which was very unfortunate because the area was so beutiful. So, it motivated me to organise this campaign.
On our designated day of the campaign, me and some of my fellow scouts gathered in our meeting spot, with all neccessary items, needed for the campaign. After that we went to the lake side and started our campaign. We wanted to finish cleaning the lake side in a day, but we couldn't. It took us two days to clean the lake side. The second day we also did the same and were able to finish cleaning the lake side.
The environment of the lake, which we cleaned was very charming. The only bad thing about it was the dirty lake side. After we finished cleaning, it looked more alive than ever, which helped both the water life in the lake and the people who come to the lake side. It also helped reducing plastic waste from our environment.
Throughout this project I learned not to throw wastes here and there and the importance of a clean envoronnent.
