Kuyasa PS: Stories That Spark Growth
The team wanted learners to discover the power of stories and how reading can transform confidence and learning. Their goal was to spark curiosity, build understanding, and help learners enjoy books in a meaningful, personal way.
Learners shared stories, explored the school library, and practised finding and classifying books. Yeboneers encouraged participation, guided reading, and created a supportive space where learners could express themselves and enjoy discovering new ideas.
The experience showed how literacy activities reveal learners’ strengths, needs, and creativity. Yeboneers learnt practical facilitation skills and saw how supportive guidance helps learners grow.
