'KURSUS LENCANA KEAHLIAN' FOR SCOUTS YEAR 2022
As the saying goes, "Helping others is the secret sauce to a happy life". Therefore, I will always back to my secondary school to serve for my beloved scout troop.
On 23 July 2022, me and my friend organise and held a project for the cubs scout in SMJK Yok Bin. The project that I held which is 'Kursus Lencana Keahlian‘. This program is extremely important for the new members who like to become a scout. This is because this is the introduction of scouts to all the freshmen in the scout troop. Fortunately, I able to held this program face to face with the cubs scout which located in SMJK Yok Bin. There are 95 participants in our project.
On that day, I take part in teaching the history of scouts in Malaysia as well as the knowledge and ways to tie the knots. After teaching and passing by the knowledge to them, I feel pleased and grateful that all of them have been benefited. One of the cubs scout told me that he gains lots of knowledge by joining this program and he promised that he will take part and more active in scout's activities. What a pleased news for me!
From this project, I realized that we need to spread the essence of scouting to other people. Therefore, me as a rovers, I must be always prepare to serve for scouts and ensure that our new generations will be stay motivated in the scout's movement.
