"Korbo Sobujayon, Gorbo Desh”
We were inspired to start this project to honor the sacrifices of the July Martyrs while contributing to a greener and healthier environment. By linking national remembrance with environmental action, we aimed to raise awareness among students and the community about the importance of tree plantation, climate action, and sustainable living, while encouraging Scouts to practice leadership, teamwork, and social responsibility.
The “Korbo Sobujayon, Gorbo Desh” project by Nilphamari Government College Rover Scouts, with support from Nilphamari Zila Parishad, ran for 3 days (10 AM–3 PM). 15 Scouts planted trees, raised awareness on climate action, and honored the July Martyrs. The project enhanced greenery, engaged students and teachers, and strengthened Scouts’ teamwork, leadership, and social responsibility while promoting environmental stewardship.
Through the “Korbo Sobujayon, Gorbo Desh” project, we learned the importance of planning, teamwork, and leadership in successfully executing community initiatives. We understood how tree plantation and environmental awareness can positively impact schools and communities. The project also taught us to connect social responsibility with national remembrance, motivating Scouts and participants to continue contributing to sustainable development.
