I  took an initiative to start a BOOK BANK in my Library Kendriya Vidyalaya Gill Nagar Chennai. The idea of book bank is “Keep a book and Take a book” This will help students to get their choice book after depositing any old subject text book. This Idea arose in my mind by KVS programme PUTAKOPHAR. Daily during library classes , lunch break and after school hours students are approaching to book bank and getting benefitted. A student bank manager is appointed to take care of book bank and to maintain the records.
