This project is continuing of the previous project in Pulau Bidong , Terengganu. This project purposely to implement Solar Light at the area in Orang Asli (Origin People) Kampung Peta, Endau Rompin National Park located in Johor. This project is joint venture of Rovers UMT (KLKM UMT) and Rovers UTHM (KLKM UTHM). This project is one of the natives initiative and also World Scout Award project. The implementation took about 3 days which cover 5 main places in the area which along the street of Orang Asli Village, Kg Peta Jetty , Police Station, Municipal Health Clinic and school area. There are 2 teams division consists of 6 people in a group. The first team covered the Police Station and Kg Peta Jetty while the second group covered street and Municipal Health Clinic and school area. Date: 31 Aug 2018 Title: Journey and Heartwarming Welcome The first day of the project are begin with the trip to the Kampung Peta, Endau Rompin National Park which the trip was a challenging journey which took about 2 hours to enter the National Parks with the uneven road made of Laterite. We were taken by the 4x4 wheels vehicles to the project location. The day of we arrive we were welcome by the Orang Asli / Origin People with very heartwarming welcome. Then, we stay at the school and prepare our campsite for 3 days and 2 nights and also we brief and prepare our equipment for the project.At the same day we're surveyed and confirmed the location of the project. Date: 1 Sept 2018 Title: Implementation of the Project The second day we divided into two group as I mentioned earlier and runs the project at all the location we confirmed. Which the project and implementation took the whole day due to the condition of the location which is high, uneven surface and etc. The project also consider the weather because the day we runs the project is rainy day a little bit difficult in cement the street light and also safety issue because we played with the electrical appliances. Anyways the project completed in the same day. At the night we're checking the light at all location to ensure all works and lights up. We found some of the lights not works and we marked the location for troubleshoot the next day. Date: 2 Sept 2018 Title: Troubleshoot and Goodbye. The last day at the project location, we're troubleshoot all the lights and confirmed the lights all works before we leave the location. We brief the chief of the village and the villagers about the lights and they were very thankful. Then, we leave the location with unforgettable memories. This project continuously updated with the chief of the village to ensure the light/lamp works for the maintenance.
