JALACHHATRA SEVA

It is rightly said that “Jala dana, Maha Punya”. Water distribution is the greatest distribution. It is always considered very sacred to quench somebody’s thirst. And the time is the Summer season now. All the living beings wait eagerly for a drop of water to meet the pungent heat of the summer Sun. So, with the instruction of the State Chief Commr. we started installing water distribution points.

Members of Odisha State BSG have been organizing water distribution centres in their locality. Rover Ranger as well as scout guide Units are engaged in rendering services in different ‘Jala Seva Kendra’. And Lemon Water, curd water, cold water, buttermilk, etc. have been distributed to the public passed by. The stalls / Water distribution centres have been continuing from 10:00 AM to 04:00 PM.

People who had the opportunity to experience this project i.e. To quench their thirst under the pungent summer sun not only felt relaxed but also got impressed and it can be hope that this chain will continue. That means that fellow will certainly give at least a glass of water to the thirsty human beings as well as animals.

From this project, it was learned that this service is perhaps the most valuable one, especially in the summer season. Really the smile that comes from the selfless service is really priceless.
