“Извидници за Чисто Скопје” – Aerodrom, Skopje
We were inspired by a local young eco-activist and wanted to support the growing movement for a cleaner Skopje. The amount of litter in Aerodrom motivated us to organize a youth-led action.
Scouts cleaned two highly polluted areas and collected around 50 bags of waste. Through photos and videos, the activity reached more than 35,000 people online.
We learned that youth-led actions are highly influential when combined with strong online communication. The project also showed us that visibility increases community participation.
