It's Okay to Not Be Okay-2025
Mental health issues like stress, anxiety, and depression often go unnoticed or unspoken in our communities. This campaign aimed to break the stigma, raise awareness, and promote emotional well-being.
As a Patrol Leader, I take initiative with Rafiqul Islam Uday of BIAM Model School & College Scout Group with the support of Former Senior Patrol Leader(Samiur Rahman Khan, along with Md. Raiyan Mollah, a rover member of Samatat Open Scout Group. We distributed awareness leaflets to pedestrians, focusing on causes of mental health issues and tips for prevention. Our goal was to start meaningful conversations and help people understand that it’s okay to seek help.
We learned that even a small effort can make someone feel seen, heard, and supported. It strengthened our empathy, communication, and leadership in addressing sensitive issues within the community.
