It's been a long weekend in Kuala Lumpur

This weekend, with the extended Public Holiday on Monday and Tuesday, many area escaping the hectic city life for a nice R&R...but not for these group of rovers and scout leaders. Kuala Lumpur was the host for The Messenger of Peace Coordinator Course, National Level for Central Zone. Rovers, Leaders and Commissioners gathered here came from 8 different states across peninsular Malaysia but mainly from Kuala Lumpur City Scouts. The cource was held Curriculum Center Kuala Lumpur, where participants started to register at 230pm after Friday Prayers. Participants were brief, guided and exposed to all of the Better World Framework including the 17 Sustainable Development Goals. These to equip the participants with the necessary knowledge and tool for them to run their responsibilities as a Messenger of Peace Coordinators. Base activities and network games were also introduce to add on learning and teaching tool. And last to top it off, MoP Dance to enhance visual aid learning on promoting Scouts as a Messenger of Peace. Great course content + knowledgeable speakers + new friends + fun games + excellence food = 1 amazing course !!! But all the is good has to come to an end, a nice, short and simple closing ceremony was held by presenting the participants with the Course certificate, badge and MoP Coordinator's scarf by the Chief Scouts Commissioner of the State of Kuala Lumpur. All ends well seeing participants exchanged each others contacts and started to head off their respective homes.
