A blood donation campaign organised by the Island Rovers Moratuwa – Piliyandala District Branch Scout Association together with the cooperation of Golden Hands Charity & National Blood Transfusion Service, took place today at the Roman Catholic School Ratmalana. A total of 70 person’s voluntary donated blood. Island Rover Crew was founded in 2015 and the Project was organized with the intention of adding a meaning for Rovers Scouts Moto “SERVICE”. Through this initiative Sri Lanka Scouts once again proved their commitment towards being a beacon of hope to those who are in desperate need of something that is essentially a vital life force. Including Religious Priests Blood Donors, Island Rovers, Volunteers from Golden Hands Charity, Staff of National Blood Transfusion Service, there were 100 people contributed to make this project success.
