Members of Community Based Scouting (CBS) from Damphu town and Nazhoen Lamten Troop received the CBS scarf from the Vice President of Tsirang Dzongkhag Scouts Association (DSA) on October 17, 2017. The Chief Dzongkhag Education Officer, Deputy Chief Education Officer, Scouts Member Secretary and Leadership Trainer Karma Leki joined the scarf awarding ceremony. With 8 new members into CBS, Tsirang Dzongkhag now have 33 CBS members. During the scarf awarding ceremony, the Vice President of the DSA mentioned that volunteerism has been degrading with development. He said "This age old custom and tradition of helping the needy poor must remain for all times to come and DSA is proud of you". An hour long session ended with vote of thank by the District Troop Leader Janchu Dorji.
