international yoga day 2020
Bharat Scout and Guide, District Udhampur celebrated the sixth International Yoga Day by following the norms of social distance. Bansi Lal Ji, the state in-charge of Patanjali was the yoga instructor. District Secretary Balwan Singh said that this year the theme of International Yoga Day is "Yoga at home and Yoga with family". Due to Coronas virus pandemic, scout-guides have been appealed to celebrate Yoga Day at home. So that they can be motivated to do yoga with their family.
District Training Commissioner (Guide) Veena Sharma told everyone while motivating,
Yoga asanas are not just exercises or exercises. It unites body, mind, soul and the universe. It provides peace and joy to every person. It also brings about significant changes in a person's behavior, thoughts and attitude.
District Organising Commissioner Renu Sharma said that this important day is being celebrated this year with limited members due to corona.
Scout master Amardev Singh and Rakesh Sharma also participated in the program.
Esteemed State Commissioner I.D. Soni praised the program and told that celebrating Yoga Day one day does not complete the work. But we have to make yoga a part of our daily life. At the end of the program, everyone pledged to adopt Yoga and Swadeshi.
