The Soroptimist International Lautoka branch has set a platform to advocate gender equality, gender parity and women empowerment. A total of 256 participants took part in the oratory contest. There were 12 Rural schools and 12 Urban schools in the Primary Category. There were 8 High Schools participating in the Secondary level. The girls and boys did very well in the oratory presentations. A lot of teachers, parents, guardians and students participated (256 participants).
