International peace day observed in Punakha Central School, Bhutan. 21st September,2016 International Peace Day. Theme:"Building Blocks for Peace". We celebrated the peace day by pasting banners and posters in the school inorder to spread peace and prosperity in the community. The scouts have actively participated in the celebration. At 10 AM in the morning We took part to celebrate national earthquake day, the scouts took the role of evacuation team and first aid team during earthquake mock drill.The scout in our school plays a vital role in numerous activities. After the mock drill school as a whole had a photo session to mark the prace day, after photo session scout performed a yell and dance. In the evening (6:15PM)all the class 12 students gathered in the prayer hall to pray for peace, where we offered a butter lamp for all the sentient beings and also to thank god for bringing happiness in our lives. The students were also distributed with sweets.
