On 21st September,2018 road head schools of Haa Dzongkhag participated in celebration of International Peace Day at Gongzim Ugyen Dorji Central School(GUDCS). Scouts,students and teachers of various school started to march at 9:00am from respective school with Peace banners to GUDCS. Following shows the statistics of participants from different schools. 1. Damthang Primary School - 145 students 2. Jamphel Higher Secondary School - 377 students 3. Katsho Lower Secondary School- 555 students 4. Tshapel lower Secondary School - 360 students 5. Jyenkana Primary School - 166 students 7. Gongzim Ugyen Dorji Central School - 653 students 8. Chundu Armed Forces Public School - 581 students 9. Total teachers non-teaching staffs involved from various school - 240 10. Sector head joined in celebration - 6 guests Total of 3083 are engaged in the program including scouts, students, teachers and sector head. The various cultural programs were also presented during the program. Lunch and refreshment was served to all the participants and guests.
