On July 28, 2018, scouts from Mauritus joined the Mini Jamboree at Sri Hartamas Secondary School in Segambut District, Kuala Lumpur. The Mini Jamboree is aimed at fostering the spirit of scouting between Malaysia and Mauritius. The program is also accompanied by the girl guides. Additionally, the program is also for scouts to get an effort & advance badge to spend the scout syllabus. The involvement of 103 participants from within and outside the country has given an impact in which it can establish close relationships within the community. A variety of interesting activities were conducted by the participants, and all participants were able to finish the activity. Among the activities are obstacles course, carving soap, splitting wood, traffic signals, scouting signs, endeavors and cultural performances. The activity which began at 10 am and ended at 6 pm provided valuable experience for both Malaysia and Mauritius scouts. The event was also held for the first time and accompanied by overseas scouts had received a festive welcome from all participants involved.
