International Leadership Training version II

The Arab region is launching ILT2, building on the success of ILT1, to empower 30 young leaders in NSOs. This program enhances their governance roles and promotes youth engagement. Additionally, 10 adult and young leaders will be trained to ensure sustainability, involving ILT1 participants in ILT2 leadership.
After the youth-led ILT sessions, alumni shared knowledge, leading to the first national ILT in Tunisia. A graduate network was formed for collaboration and mentorship. Participants assessed community needs and, with local stakeholders, launched an advocacy campaign in schools, reaching 150 people. Both initiatives strengthened leadership and community impact. by the end of this training, with the participation of 40, the trainees almost reach 300 people from their communities.
The ILT highlighted the need for scalability and resource efficiency. Balancing in-person training, digital engagement, and post-training support ensures impact with limited resources. Future versions should explore alternative funding and scalable models. Structured mentorship is key, with alumni leading and mentors guiding. Clear roles prevent misunderstandings, and refining this model will enhance impact.
