International Leadership Training version 3 AR

ILT3 was inspired by the proven success of ILT 1 and ILT 2, which showed that investing in youth leadership drives lasting impact across the Arab Scout Region. Building on this momentum, ILT3 strengthens youth leadership in 19+ Arab NSOs by training 40 young leaders and 35 volunteers in management, governance, problem-solving, and community action.
ILT3 was implemented through a phased approach ensuring strong preparation, quality delivery, and sustainable follow-up. After a programme design phase (28 Aug–1 Sep 2025) with 33 facilitators, the training was delivered in Egypt (9–14 Dec), engaging 74 participants and graduating 37 young leaders. Coaching supported national replication, reaching 350 participants, alongside 15 community projects delivering 300 service hours.
The project highlighted that strong results depend on early, detailed preparation—especially investing in a well-aligned facilitation team before delivery. Youth engagement was strongest when participants were trusted with real responsibility in planning and implementation. Consistent communication, coaching, and follow-up were key to sustaining national replication. Flexibility was also essential to adapt to varying participation levels while protecting core objectives.
