On 21st September, international day of peace was celebrated by staffs and the students of Jurmey Primary school by making peace flag and peace posters before the peace day commenced. On the day of celebration, students, teachers and supporting staff gathered in an assembly which started the day with prayer. A student spoke on the importance of peace. We observed a silence in an assembly for a minute followed by sharing of message of peace and prosperity on 'hands up for peace' rainbow chart. Students recited a short poem. Messenger of peace dance was performed by Nachung scouts. Students lined up for a peace rally to read the messages and quotes displayed on the wall.It ended by conducting cleaning campaign.
