International Day of Peace

My grandpa was the most giving person I know.He taught me to be giving in life and do things, even the smallest ones, that may help to change. He was heavenly and brought a lot of joy and peace to many hearts. He passed the same values to his kids.My dad loves planting and has planted over 20 plants.I,along with my dad, have planted trees in our terrace and balcony. We even have some plants that work as humidifiers in our rooms. We always want to carry my grandpa’s legacy forward.

This pandemic has caused a lot of people to work from home. This working from home can be a little tricky for submitting projects. But thanks to technology evolving,we can easily work from home. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the activities of my project were executed at home,by maintaining health protocols and social distancing.
To impact the world efficiently, you should just do positive stuff. It doesn't matter what it is and it doesn't matter how much time or money you devote to it. Planting doesn’t cause me much money. All I need to do is take a little bit of time from my day and take care of them. I believe I’ve benefitted 19 people, all of them are my neighbours. Whenever they visit, my plants seem to always put a smile on their face. Most of them are old and lonely so I think my plants give them company.
I’ve learned a lot from this project. I’ve read people’s stories of why and how they started helping the world. Every step can help the world be a better place for us to live in. We learn life skills through tree planting and gardening. I learned responsibility by caring for the plants, learned how to communicate and compromise with each other, gained leadership skills, and developed self confidence.
