Last 21st of September, 2019, the NESAPh Valeriano Ibañez Abello Chapter No. 3 conducted a coastal clean-up at the Cancabato Bay, Tacloban City.  The said activity’s purposes were: (1) to clean the coastal environment, (2) to participate in the annual international coastal clean-up drive, (3) and to raise awareness of the recent state of our environment in the community.

The activity was spearheaded by the Officers of Valeriano ibañez Abello Chapter. NESAPh members as well as scouts from St. Therese Educational Foundation Tacloban, Inc. voluntarily participated in the activity. The scouts arrived initiated the coastal clean-up around 6:00 A.M. The collected trashes were segregated in plastic bags and were disposed in a nearby container, ready for pick up by the city’s waste disposal management team.
