Interamerican Scout Committee Meeting 2023

Setting the basis of the Good Governance path for the newest Interamerican Scout Committee
We are starting a new triennium, a triennium full of hope and with a view towards the recovery of all the National Scout Organizations of the Interamerican Scout Region. We met from February 17 to 20, 2023 at the headquarters of the World Scout Bureau - Interamerica Support Centre, in Panama City. This was our first meeting as the Interamerican Scout Committee, where we defined our path to serve all the volunteers in the Region.
The Interamerican Scout Committee serves as the governing body of to the Interamerican Scout Region. Their actions reflect on the Strategic decisions and achievements as a Region.
This process should be replicated in each of the National Scout Organizations in order for members of the body to be all aligned, get to know each other, get to know their executive team and understand their roles, functions, tasks and the most important: set an action plan to achieve the organization’s goals. It is also a great opportunity to decide on future plans, like meetings, budget, strategies, etc.
