Institutional Environmental Cleanup
Scientists stated that the planet's demise is nigh, yet we do not make actions. These statement what drives us to help our environment, and even mother earth. Even though it is a small scale, it is still will help our environment to heal.
Having approved by our school, we immediately called our scouts and quickly moved to pick up trash that we will sell to junkshops and clean our environment.
Collecting several sacks of crumpled bottles and bottlecaps, we assessed that our action is a success.
This not only helped our environment, but also lessen the chances that the trashes we collected will be sent to a wrong facility, where they will be burnt. Instead, selling them to junkshops will send them to a proper facility where they will be repurposed properly.
What I picked up is that we only have one earth. One home.
If we do not make actions today, we may lose our home. Our home that will collapse in several decades or maybe even years.
