Informed costal&rural people about Cyclone Amphan.
Every years a lot of people suffer, lose their shelter or their domestic animals and even die due to cyclones or another natural calamities. Specially the rural peoples of Bangladesh suffers a lot. That's why, We try to inform them before the disasters happen.
In continuation of this, we informed the coastal peoples of Barishal before the Cyclone Amphan came. We tried to engage almost 250 peoples. Fishermen and local peoples was in our priority.
After we inform them, they took action. They confirmed us that, they will not be outside of their home and they will take necessary steps to be safe from the cyclone. They will preserve some dry foods and drinkable water, they added.
After that project, I learned that we cannot completely avoid hurricanes or other natural disasters. But we can take proper measures to be safe from them.
