Day-4: SDGs Agenda-2030 & Role of Young People in Sustainable Environment and Quality Education:
As usual the 4th Day Webinar was Webinar was started with General Salute to the Chief Guest followed by the BSG Prayer. Welcome Speech was presented by Mr. S.S. Ray Assistant Director, Northern Region BSG. The Chief Guest of the 4th Day Webinar as Mrs. Amelia Swer, International Commissioner (Guides) cum State Secreetary, Meghalaya State Association. Resource Persons of the webinar were Ms. Shweta Shinde, Project Assistant in UNDP, India for Goa State and Prof. Anirudha Despandey, Assistant Professor College of Engineering, Osmanabad, Solapur, Maharashtra.
Chief Guest in her address insist the participants to be role in implementing the global change maker in the mission SDGs and focused on act locally and think globally. She expressed her happiness about this webinar which has been going smoothly and very innovatively.
Resource Person Ms. Shweta Shinde, Project Assistant in UNDP, working for Plastic Waste Recycle Management, UNDP took the session on SDGs Agenda -2030 very deliberately. She highlighted the 17 SDGs in details and 8Millenium Development Goals as compared with SDGs, UN Agencies Working in India and Major Ministries involved In SDGs Implementation. Later her session was interrupted due to technical problem.
Second session was taken by Prof. Anirudha Despandey, on the topic Role of the Young People in Sustainable Environment & Quality Education, Steps for proposing as solution and Trending Technologies for successful SDGs Achievement for the development of skill of Universal Human Value.
It was followed by the quiz on the slido.com by Mr. Satyajit Chaterjee. Presentation on the project report of SDGs were present by Ms. Sharmin Banu from Karnataka through beautiful Video and Ms Priyanka Prajapati from Rajasthan presented about the functions of U-Report in details and its benefits to the user.
The 4th Day Webinar was adjourned with the proposed of Vote of Thanks by Mr. Analendra Sharma, Assistant Director, NER, BSG, NHQ.
