Iftar distribution among needy people

I felt a deep compassion for those lacking access to food, particularly during Ramadan. Seeing people in hardship trying to secure iftar meals touched me profoundly. It stirred within me a strong determination to make a difference and extend a helping hand during this crucial time of need. So, I decided to give iftar meals to those who couldn't afford them. Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "The best of you are those who feed others." It inspires me to keep spreading kindness.
The Opartheeb Foundation organized the project, with 20 volunteers, including me, joining in. We gathered funds within the foundation itself. Each of us formed a small group to buy food and water. Then on the day of distribution, We divided into teams of three, with a leader for each group. Together, we handed out food to those who needed it before Iftar time
Through this project, I gained a deeper understanding of the challenges faced by those who can't always afford food. It taught me to empathize more with people in need. About 120 people benefited from this project. I can learn from this project that equal rights for all are needed to build a peaceful society. We should distribute free food to all the needy and poor people and ensure that food is not wasted.
