Hope is the Tree🌳 that holds the World🌏
Our inspiration is the following lines
“Someone’s sitting in the shade today because someone planted a tree a long time ago.”
“The trees are God’s great alphabet: With them He writes in shining green across the world His thoughts serene.”
Firstly, a meeting was arranges at District level by Our DOC(S), SRI SUJIT KUMAR CHATTERJEE. We all agreed for this project. we had chosen Adra division and its surrounding area to implement the project.. As Adra is a railway division so its consists of multiple localities like Adra, Bankura, Bhojudih, Anara, Bokaro thats why we were distributed in small groups. We were 46 members including leaders. We planned to plant trees, taking care of them, Throwing seed balls and awareness campaign.
You can’t have the fruits without the roots.” ------- By following this quote we decided to plant trees 3 days in a week and taking care of them whole week and still now. We planned two days tree plantation and one day seed ball throw programmes in a week. This project has large impact in our locality. Because we highlighted to everyone that not only planting trees important but taking care of them is also important. We aware people to plant trees and stop afforestation by posters. At first we didn't get responses from the locality but when we ran the project for 2 weeks we got huge supports and positive impact in our locality because many people joined us and they also planted trees. Only scout guide members is not sufficient to protect our globe so we reach to people so that they can stretch out their helping hand towards this noble mission i.e. Tree Plantation. we are very glad that we convinced people to plant trees at special occasions like newly born in family, birthday, anniversary, freedom fighters' birthday etc.
The planting project helped us to raise awareness on the importance of trees and shrubs. The best way to inspire a love for nature is to start teaching it at a young age. we can close to our mother earth by planting trees. We knew about different kinds of trees like medicinal plants, plants that can eat worms and many more and this knowledge can help us in hiking and trekking. Its high time to plant more trees so that we can fight against pollution. Stop deforestation and promote afforestation by team work and dedication.
